Sharon is a highly experienced canine behavioral specialist with 15 years of expertise. Alongside her extensive knowledge, she is the proud owner of three German Shepherds.

Her dedication to helping dogs extends beyond her private practice, as she also serves as a Board of Director/Treasurer for K9 Hero Guardians. This organization focuses on raising funds for active and retired Police K9's.

Additionally, Sharon partners with Saginaw County Animal Care and Control, where she takes in unadoptable dogs and successfully rehabilitates them, making them ready for adoption.

Sharon is a highly qualified professional in the field of canine training. With over 15 years of experience, she is both a Certified Advance Canine Training Professional and a Certified Canine Training Behavior Specialist.

Her passion for dog obedience training began with her own German Shepherd and has since grown into a career focused on improving the skills of her students. At Paws & Beyond, we specialize in working with rescues, fearful and aggressive dogs, and have achieved great success in shaping many dog behaviors.

Meet our lead trainer, Jarod! 🐾 Since opening our training facility, Jarod has been a breath of fresh air and a key part of our team. 🌟 In a remarkably short time, he’s become a cornerstone of our operation, transforming the lives of countless dogs with his dedication and expertise.

Jarod treats every dog he meets with the same love and care as if they were his own. His patience and skill are evident in the progress and transformation of each pup he works with. Whether it’s turning a rambunctious puppy into a well-mannered companion or ensuring our facility is spotless and organized, Jarod goes above and beyond in everything he does.

Kristen Huebner - Groomer/Trainer

🐾 Kristen is our fantastic groomer & trainer and she's already making waves with her exceptional skills.

In addition to her training expertise, Kristen is in charge of our Spa Day's for your beloved furry friends. 🛁✨Let Kristen pamper your pet with a refreshing wash, a blowout, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression if needed. She also provides a soothing massage and a luxurious oil treatment. 🌿💆‍♂️

Paige Pitz - Trainer

Paige comes from a background from working with Pit rescues and was also an Animal Control Officer for the Saginaw County Animal Care and & Control. She brings a vast knowledge from the animal world, and we are excited to have her on our team.
