Paws & Beyond Partners with Sag. Cty. Animal Care & Control

Saginaw County Animal Care & Control takes in hundreds of dogs each year. They work tirelessly to care for these dogs and find permanent, loving homes and families for them to live out their lives with. Unfortunately, many of these dogs are unadoptable for various reasons, and remain in the shelter for an indeterminant amount of time. 

Sharon, the owner of Paws & Beyond, in cooperation with Saginaw County Animal Care & Control takes in unadoptable dogs for the purpose of animal rehabilitation through her unique training and obedience instruction. The dogs live with her, her husband and 2 German Shepherds while they undergo her training program. This training program can be quite time consuming because of the different needs of each dog.

At the conclusion of the training program, the rehabilitated dogs will be placed with their new forever families. 

Sharon’s program permits a second chance for each dog to find there loving family through the Saginaw County Animal Care & Control adoption program.
